keeping all its original character.
This lovely period Cottage is situated in an idyllic rural village and offers views over the River Coquet, perfect for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. Just yards from the front door is the riverbank, with miles of beautiful riverside walks leading into the stunning countryside.
Our two bedroom Cottage offers excellent accommodation for four people, with one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, comfortable lounge with open fireplace, dining room, modern kitchen and bathroom, downstairs toilet, outside seating area with BBQ facilities, gas central heating and high speed wireless internet access. Families are welcome to stay and so are members of your extended family... the pets! A range of amenities including local shops, post office, café, bakery, and a charming country pub with restaurant are all within easy walking distance of the property. There are numerous local tourist attractions, riverside walks and scenic countryside within the immediate vicinity. Don't forget to bring some bread along to feed the ducks by the river! Riverside Cottage is the ideal base to explore all that Northumberland has to offer, from it's famous castles and award-winning beaches to walks, cycling, golf, water sports and fishing or one of the county's many attractions.
Accessible from the North and South of the Country via the A1, between two and a half to three hours drive from the Midlands and approx 25 miles north of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
