How do I book?
Please see our online booking page for details of how to book the Cottage. If you complete the form online we will contact you as soon as possible using your preferred method of contact. You can also call us directly to book on 07718 919320.

Do I have to pay a deposit?
If you are booking the Cottage more than two months in advance a £50 per week non-refundable deposit, plus £15 booking fee is payable to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due two months prior to your arrival. We will of course offer you the choice of paying the full balance at the point of booking.

What if am booking less than two months in advance?
The full balance plus the booking fee is payable.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept online bank transfers, payments by Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Delta, Solo, Switch, American Express and more via PayPal. PayPal allows you to make secure, instant payment by debit card or credit card without even having the hassle of creating an account with them. We also accept personal cheques. If you wish to pay online we will email you an invoice with simple instructions on how to pay us.

Are there any extra charges?
We do not charge a fee for bedding, linen or towels etc. The only additional fee we will ever charge is £20 per week if you would like to bring along pets. 

When will I receive confirmation of my booking?
We will send out a formal booking confirmation when your deposit payment has cleared (or the full balance if booking less than two months in advance). Your booking is not secured until you receive this confirmation from us.

Will I get detailed directions to the Cottage?
We will send you full comprehensive instructions on how to get to the Cottage before your arrival date. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

What equipment do you provide for babies?
As standard in the Cottage we provide a high chair, travel cot, bowls and feeding equipment.

What if something goes wrong during our stay?
If there are any problems during your stay simply call on the number provided in the Cottage guide and your booking confirmation. We will do our best to sort any problems immediately.

Where can I park during our stay?
There is on street parking available at the Cottage for the duration of your stay. There are no parking restrictions on any road or the bridge surrounding the property. There is also an off street parking area opposite the Cottage.

Are we able to get the car to the front door to unload on arrival?
Yes, you can park your car temporarily right outside the front door to unload your belongings or to drop off a person with limited mobility. However, please be aware that this is an access road for the houses nearer the river so we would ask that you minimise any disruption for the residents.

We have a celebration during our stay, what can you provide to make it even more special?
By arrangement we can provide any extras you require to make your stay more special. From bottles of champagne or flowers on arrival to home made cakes or chocolates, we can organise it for you. If you require any extras please tell us at the time of booking and we will arrange a quote for the additional cost.

How does the keyless entry system work?
Before your arrival we will let you have a ten digit code that allows you access to the Cottage. This code will only allow you access from 2pm on the day of arrival and will expire at 10am on the day of your departure. Once you have accessed the Cottage you can change your code to a more memorable 3 to 6 digit number. Full instructions will be sent to you prior to your arrival and if you supplied us with a mobile number we will also text you the code the day before your arrival.

What time can I have access to the Cottage on my day of arrival?
Your access code will work from 2pm on the day of your arrival and expire on 10am on the day of your departure. This is to give us time to clean the Cottage to the high standards our visitors expect.

Are bedding, linen and towels included?

Yes, all beds will be made for you with clean bedding prior to your arrival. Extra blankets are also provided along with towels for each guest.

We are staying for more than one week, will there be a change of bedding?
If you book the Cottage for two or more weeks our Housekeeper will change your bedding and clean the bathrooms on the middle Saturday of you stay. If you would prefer not to have the use of our Housekeeper, we can simply drop off a change of bedding for you.
