Finding the Cottage couldn't be easier, it is conveniently located just a
mile from the A1, the main road through the county. The postcode for your Sat Nav is NE65 9ED. From the South Take the A1 or the M1 North, these two roads eventually merge into each other around Leeds. Stay on the A1 until you are approx 20 miles North of Newcastle, at this point the road changes from dual carriageway to single carriageway. From this point the right hand turn signposted Felton and West Thirston is approximately 8 miles away. Turn right at this signpost and after about a mile you will reach the bridge where Riverside Cottage is located, just after the Northumberland Arms. From the North
Take the A1 south. Approximately 8 miles south of Alnwick turn left at the signpost for Felton. Stay on this road through the village of Felton until you reach the bridge where the Cottage is located on the south bank of the river. If you pass the Northumberland Arms you have gone too far!
